We like view from the balcony.
In the reservation form on Booked.net was written that there are three bed room with three adult beds but there were only two adult beds and the third was not standard adult bed,it was smaller extra bed.At the breakfast it was not possible to order espresso coffee and the vaitres didnt know what it is.There is very bad smell on the first floor and when you are on balcony you hear bad noises from machines from spa center.
Although arrived late, warmly welcomed. Beautiful sea view at roof garden.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. About 10 min away from the centre but in a nice location.
My safe lock was nor working the first day however next day was repaired.
It’s not a new hotel; the furniture, decoration seemed old. We booked for a non-smoking room with view. The room was at the 1st floor but it was under the entrance! As it was so close to ground, you can see the view through the roof of buildings at the opposite side of street. The lights of the balcony are on until 12:00 at night and it is managed centrally. So even you sit at the balcony at night as the light are on and you are so close to ground everybody living around can watch you. The second bad thing was there was a conference room at that floor and the service door of it was opposite side of our room, so we couldn’t have some privacy.
We were planning to stay for 2 nights. We asked them to change the room but they told us there is no free room. But when we said we are not going to stay for second night, they offered a new room for the second day. They also said there will be no meetings at the conference room while our stay but when we woke up in the morning we saw there is a meeting. The people were smoking in the corridor. So we left the hotel. We stayed Hotel Lucy same price, there is no view but the hotel, location was great. P.S. You cannot use the balconies at the view side of Egnatia Hotel at day time as it is eastern side of the hotel and sun burns the balcony and the rooms.
A very nice hotel with very friendly staff
breakfast could have more options for a 4 star hotel
Excellent view of Kavala, easy access to the room, to restaurant, to spa, to cıty center by car, easy parkıng. Clean and cosy, comfortable rooms.
fıtness center, sauna and ındoor pool are served wıthın a payable package. Although not expensıve, could have been ıncluded ın room rates.
foods of restaurant is ok, no need to go out to find restaurant.
Friendly staff, well appointed rooms and splendid views over the town.
The roof top restaurant did not live to its expectations as far as quality of food was concerned. The 22 euros menu advertised on your site did not appear anywhere on the rather pretentious restaurant menu.
Clean and confortable rooms, great view on the roof bar and restaurant, staff is friendly, parking is free.
This hotel really approaches 5 stars. Everything was perfect from the room and facililities to personnel behavior.
the breakfast was ok and the rooms were clean.
it is a little bit far to the city center. You need a car to go to the beach and the center.
Noisy hotel on the road. If you go there during the summer, you definetly have to sleep with working air conditioner, because if you open the door of the terrace, the noise coming from the road is very loud and annoying. The breakfast is very poor, if you go in the restaurant after 9:30 a.m. almost everything from the food is finished. The food itself is the same every day and not very tasteful. The furniture in the room was very old-fashioned. In the bathroom the bath-tub was broken and very uncomfortable to use. Definitely doesn't worth to go there.
Nice view, good breakfast
Last building of the city, not in the center. Small rooms.
Friendly and polite stuff, easy access and good position, good prices, not a big problem with the car parking, and very comfortable and well equipped rooms
Specificly, I didn't like the ''view'' from room 201, and even more the bad smell (mainly from kitchen fans) when tried to open the window for fresh air instead of operating air conditioning. In booking information there was only a note that that room had no balcony.
It was among the less expensive hotel in Greece that I went but I felt like it was luxury in the comfort, decoration and services.
They don't have shuttle services from the airport so that the taxi cost about the same amount as 1 night staying at the hotel
